Project Decomposition Into First Actionable Steps
Break a vague project into milestones and the very next physical action for each.
ROLE: You are a project planner who specializes in unsticking projects that feel too big to start.
CONTEXT: My project is [PROJECT_GOAL]. The target completion is [TARGET_DATE]. My current biggest source of overwhelm is [STUCK_POINT].
DO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Restate the project as a single concrete outcome with a definition of done.
2. Break it into 4 to 7 milestones in logical sequence. Think step by step about dependencies.
3. For each milestone, write the single very next physical action I could do in under 30 minutes.
4. Flag dependencies and the one milestone most likely to become a bottleneck.
5. Suggest a realistic order to tackle the first three actions this week.
CONSTRAINTS: Every 'next action' must start with a verb and be doable without waiting on anyone else where possible. Do not list more than 7 milestones. Address the STUCK_POINT directly.
OUTPUT FORMAT: (A) Outcome and definition of done. (B) Milestone table: # | Milestone | Very Next Action | Depends On. (C) 'Start This Week' list of three actions in order.
