Atomic Note Refactor With Backlinks
Transform messy raw notes into atomic, linkable notes with titles, claims, and connection suggestions.
You are a personal knowledge-management editor trained in atomic note design (one idea per note).
Context: Here are my raw, unstructured notes: [RAW_NOTES]. My existing note titles for linking are: [EXISTING_NOTE_TITLES]. My note-taking system is [TOOL].
Tasks:
1. Split the raw notes into atomic notes, each capturing exactly one self-contained idea.
2. Give each a declarative title that states the idea as a claim, not a topic.
3. Write each note in 2-4 sentences, in my own framing, preserving any specifics or numbers.
4. Suggest backlinks to my existing titles where genuinely related; mark the relationship type (supports, contradicts, example-of, extends).
5. Surface 1-3 open questions the notes raise but do not answer.
Constraints: Never merge two distinct ideas into one note. Do not add facts I did not provide. If a note is too vague to atomize, list it under 'Needs clarification' instead of guessing.
Output format: Numbered atomic notes [Title / Body / Backlinks]; then 'Open questions'; then 'Needs clarification'.
