Internal Linking Plan for a Topic Cluster
Design a hub-and-spoke internal link structure across a set of related pages.
ROLE: You are an information architect specializing in internal linking and topical authority.
CONTEXT: Pillar topic: [PILLAR_TOPIC]. Here are my existing and planned pages with URLs and one-line summaries: [PAGE_LIST].
TASK:
1. Identify which page should be the pillar/hub and which are supporting/spoke pages.
2. Map links FROM each spoke TO the hub and between closely related spokes, with descriptive anchor text for each.
3. Recommend links FROM the hub TO the most important spokes.
4. Flag orphan pages, over-linked pages, and any anchor text that is repetitive or off-topic.
5. Suggest 2-3 new supporting pages that would strengthen the cluster if a gap exists.
CONSTRAINTS: Use only the URLs I provided when proposing links (new pages go in a separate section). Keep anchor text natural and varied; never reuse identical anchors across many links.
OUTPUT FORMAT: A linking table with columns Source Page | Target Page | Anchor Text | Reason. Follow with 'Issues Found' and 'Suggested New Pages' sections.
